Are sessions confidential?

At our practice, confidentiality is a core value and an essential part of the therapeutic process. All sessions are private, and everything shared — including personal information, thoughts, feelings, and experiences — is kept strictly confidential.

We adhere to professional, ethical, and legal standards to protect your privacy. Information will never be shared without your written consent, except in situations where disclosure is legally required, such as imminent risk of harm or suspected abuse.

Confidentiality extends to both in-person sessions and all written or electronic records, which are securely stored to prevent unauthorized access. While certain legal and ethical limits to confidentiality exist, we will review these with you during your initial sessions.

If you ever have concerns or questions about confidentiality, we encourage you to reach out. Your trust, safety, and comfort in therapy are our highest priorities.
